QUICK LINKS
NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS

It is almost time to start summer youth baseball. Games will be played on the park diamond, south of the soccer field. We are in the process of purchasing bleachers, but it would be a good idea to take a lawn chair. Click here for the baseball schedule or look in "Forms, Flyers & Schedules".

Wifi
is now available in the park! You can now check your email while attending youth practices and games!
We're accomplishing a lot at the Fair Grove District Parks, managing our funds to get the best bang with limited bucks.  Special thanks go to Carl Buckner for overseeing construction of the new concession stand by the soccer and baseball fields.  It has bathrooms, pop machine, large storage area, and yummy snacks.

Soccer is now a FGHS sport, with a boys' team making their debut in 2011 and a girls' team fielded in 2012.  The FGHS girls finished their home stand with a 3-1 victory over Parkview on May 9th.
Click here for Photos Currently High School Boys' Soccer is played in the fall, with HS Girls' Soccer in the spring. You can see Coach Florez at the park practicing with the kids on a regular basis.  He is also the head of our Fair Grove Soccer Academy, helping to train youngsters in the basic skills of soccer while having a good time.  For more information, contact Joseph Florez at joseph.m.florez@gmail.com
or call 417-818-7998. Prior to a new season, enrollment blanks can be found online at www.fairgrovesoccer.com.  Mail correspondence to Fair Grove Soccer Academy, PO Box 107, Fair Grove MO 65648.  Scholarships will be available on a limited basis to those with financial needs.

Youth coed baseball, held during June and July, is now being led by Christian Overstreet, director, and and Chris Stallings, assistant.

Capital improvements planned at the park include paving of the gravel trails in the fall, 2013.  We now have about 1/3 mile of paved trail, but will add about another mile of paving.  Further paving of parking lots will depend on finances. We also plan to add picnic tables tables and benches in the near future.
