Work Progresses on Park Projects
Your tax dollars are at work! Plans were approved on January 14, 2008, to begin construction of Phase One of the new Fair Grove Park. City contractor Larry Robertson will begin work as soon as permits are obtained and weather cooperates.
Phase One includes an entrance road off Main Street near the Todd Tvedt residence. The road will lead to a parking lot for 60 cars. A trail will connect the parking lot to soccer fields on the west side of the creek. Phase One also includes construction of the soccer fields. An alternate site for the spring soccer program will be selected if soccer fields are not ready for the March 29th opening date.
Remember, every time you buy locally, tax money is added to the park fund. Please support our local merchants whenever possible. Watch this website for more updates.

About the Fair Grove District Parks System
|
The Fair Grove Park Board
The City of Fair Grove has formed a Park Board to administer the parks and recreation programs for the community. An inter-governmental agreement was made between the City of Fair Grove and the Fair Grove Consolidated School District No. 10 to cooperate in matters of recreation and sports education.
The District Park Board is a nine member board appointed by the Mayor. Members serve a three year term with three members being appointed each year. The fiscal year for the board is from July to June.
